Padel trip to the Costa Blanca
More than 300 sunny days a year, short distances and padel courts on every corner. The Costa Blanca is the most practical region in Spain for a padel trip with your group.
What is the Costa Blanca?
The Costa Blanca is the coastal strip of the province of Alicante, from Dénia in the north to Pilar de la Horadada in the south. Padel & Sun operates in the southern part: Torrevieja and neighbouring Orihuela Costa.
From Alicante airport the accommodation is about forty-five minutes away. Everything you need during the trip – courts, accommodation, restaurants and beach – lies within a radius of a few kilometres.
Why play padel on the Costa Blanca?
- Mild climate: great to play in spring and autumn too
- Plenty of clubs with modern indoor and outdoor courts
- Short transfers between accommodation, courts and beach
- Spanish padel level: sparring with local players is easily arranged
- Good value for accommodation, food and court hire
The areas where we operate
- Torrevieja: our home base, with the partner clubs and the town centre
- Orihuela Costa: quieter, greener and with the finest beaches
- La Mata and Guardamar: long sandy beaches just to the north
- Alicante: the city, just under an hour's drive away
When will you travel?
March to June and September to November are the nicest months for padel: pleasant temperatures and quiet courts. In summer we prefer to train in the morning or indoors.
